Fair Play: Tackling Recruitment Bias in the Tech Space In recent years, the discussion surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within organizations has gained significant traction. However, the tech industry continues to grapple with systemic barriers that hinder the participation of African Americans and other underrepresented groups. According to a 2022 survey by Wiley\Edge, their key finding in their results was: "The US tech industry is failing to make significant gains when it comes to hiring and retaining Black, Hispanic, Latino, Asian American, and Pacific Islander (AAPI) and other historically underrepresented talent."
